Standard container
“DRY CARGO” CONTAINER (DCC)
“HIGH CUBE” CONTAINER
The standard containers are the most widespread containers in sea freight industry due to their great versatility. Available in 20’ and 40’ and 45’ ft long, where the 40’ ft long can be a 40'HC (High Cube), which taller and therefore has greater cubic capacity. Unlike the standard containers- whose maximum height is 2591 mm (8'6 "), the "High Cube" containers are 2896 mm high (9'6").

Open Top container
The "Open Top" containers differ from the standard containers in the construction of their roof - made out of detachable beams covered with tarpaulin. This allows the loading of oversized loads that cannot fit in a standard container or crane loading from above is required. Typically, the "Open Top" containers are 20'- or 40'-ft long.

Refrigerated container
Refrigerated containers (RC) are used for goods that need to be transported at a constant positive or negative temperature. These are mainly food products such as fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products. The dimensions of the refrigerated containers are the standard 20'- and 40'-ft long, with the only difference being- the slightly smaller cubic capacity, due to the space taken by the refrigeration unit.

Flat rack container
"Flat Rack" Containers (FRC) are used for heavy and oversized loads, as well as for loads that need to be loaded from the top or sides. This is possible because of the container’s reinforced base and lack of horizontal side walls and roof. They are available in the standard 20'- and 40'-ft long and a payload of respectively 31,000 kg and 39,000 kg.

Platform container
Platform Containers (PC) consist only of a reinforced floor platform which has an extremely high load capacity. It allows the transport of very heavy loads over short distances. These containers have wooden flooring platform around which there is a reinforced metal frame. Such types of containers are available in standard dimensions and have maximum payload of up to 47 000 kg.
